Fairy Tale Concerts
Music becomes truly magical for children when it conjures up pictures in their minds. Together with all our young concert-goers, we therefore set off on an imaginary journey through quiet sounds, sweeping tones and breath-taking music along with our musical ensembles. The stories and fairy tales that are told guide the children playfully through the concert, and the time flies by.
Music goes to schoolOnce a month, we arrange an exclusive meeting with a school class, of any age and in any form of school. A member of the Erfurt Philharmonic Orchestra attends the lesson, presents his or her instrument, talks about his or her everyday working life in the theatre and answers any questions the pupils might have.
Visits to rehearsals
Attending a rehearsal provides a very special glimpse behind the scenes. By arrangement with the conductors and directors, we offer the opportunity to experience a brief extract from the everyday working lives of musicians or singers.
